WHEN YOU SAY AMEN
The earliest human settlements in the INDUS VALLEY are the earliest known culture of the Indian subcontinent. It dates from the late Stone Age immigration of the Genetically Modified TAN from K2, down the Indus river to Baluchistan (on the Pakistan-Iran border - bounded by Iran, Afghanistan, and the Arabian Sea.). These settlements began much earlier than 4000 BC, probably around 9,500 BC (and were repeated much later in 4500 BC, in Kurdistan and Iraq, during a similar Caucasian migration). The people who lived in them led a seminomadic existence, herding animals from one place to another and growing a limited amount of food.
The Indus Valley is a floodplain, much like southern Iraq and the Nile region of Egypt, and the annual flooding, with its resultant deposit of silt, offered good prospects for growing food and other crops with a minimum of labour and tools. The first settlements were probably established near the Indus Delta in the south, and later ones developed as civilization spread north to Iran-Kurdistan-Iraq and east into the Malaysian peninsula, Indonesia and greater China.
The early centuries of settlement appear to have been a time of rapid population increase and expansion that resulted, in spite of the many different settlements, in a fairly uniform culture and a strong measure of economic and political control.
The civil government in the leading cities was under the control of a class of priests or priest-kings, as also evolved later in Egypt.
Amen (also spelled Amun,
Amon, Ammon, Aman, or Hammon), in ancient Egyptian religion and mythology, is a god whose name means "what is hidden," "what is not seen," or "what cannot be seen."
He is god of the breath of life that animates all living creatures as well as the spirit that permeates every inanimate object. Originally associated with the city of Thebes, Amen later became joined with the sun god Ra (or Re) as Amen-Ra, king of the gods. As such he attained a position of supremacy in the Egyptian pantheon and came to be thought of as one of the creators of the universe. He was the husband of the goddess Mut and father of the god Khonsu; together they were known as the Triad of Thebes. Though unknown and unseen, Amen was thought to characterize great generosity and universal influence.
As the "hidden" god, Amen's true form could not be known, yet he was depicted in ancient Egyptian art in a profusion of forms. Usually Amen is portrayed as a bearded man with a headdress of two tall plumes, colored in alternate sections of red and green or red and blue. Around his neck he wears a broad necklace of intricate design, and he often wears armlets and bracelets as well. Shoulder straps are attached to his tunic. The tail of an animal, possibly a lion or a bull, hangs down from the back of his tunic, a sign of his antiquity. In his right hand he holds the ankh, symbol of life, and in his left hand the scepter, symbol of power. He is sometimes seated on a throne.
The composite Amen-Ra is often shown as having a human body with a hawk's head. Over the hawk's head
is the solar disk encircled by a serpent (uraeus). As the people of different religious areas (called nomes) along the Nile considered different animals to be most sacred, Amen-Ra would be associated with that animal; thus he is also sometimes shown as an ape, a lion, a goose, or a crocodile, depending on the location. In a late form, he is depicted with the head of a ram.
Amen and his female counterpart, Amunet (Ament, Amaunet), formed one pair of the eight ancient creation gods and goddesses (together called the Ogdoad) of Hermopolis. When Amen is shown together with Amunet, he is usually portrayed with the head of a frog, and she has the head of a serpent. When Amen himself is depicted with the uraeus, Amunet has the head of a cat. Amen was also sometimes fused with the ithyphallic god Min as Min-Amen, Amsu, or Khem, and then he is shown with the symbolic flail over his upraised arm. As Min-Amen he symbolized the creative, generative power of male sexuality.
In late dynastic times, especially in the Ptolemaic period, figures of Amen-Ra were fashioned in bronze that incorporated all the important attributes of the god. In these figures he has the head of a bearded man, the body of a beetle, the wings of a hawk, the legs of a man with the toes and claws of a lion, four arms and four wings. The solar disk rests on ram's horns above him, and a lion-headed cobra is added to the design.
As he was invisible and associated with the air and with the breath of life everywhere, Amen's presence, the Egyptians believed, could be sensed in gus
ts of wind and in the fluttering pennants that priests attached to temple pylons.
Amen is thought to be of very ancient, predynastic origin, perhaps as a god of agriculture, a local deity whose worship centered around the city of Thebes. A shrine to Amen was built in the Apt, the northern quarter of Thebes, during the 12th dynasty.
Amen's status as a god rose along with the political fortunes of his home city. Swiftly, in the space of about a hundred years, Amen went from local deity to creator of the universe, as Theban princes gained sovereignty. Thebes became the capital city of all Egypt and home of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom. Possibly in order to avoid theological rivalries or to overcome such rivalries, the priests of Thebes declared Amen to be one with the popular, widely worshiped creator sun god Ra, calling him Amen-Ra.
In this form he was now considered king of the gods, supreme deity of Egypt, source of all life in heaven, Earth, and the underworld. He became the guardian deity of the pharaohs of the 18th dynasty, and the ruling pharaoh was considered to be the god incarnate. Amen-Ra's power and might were described in many Egyptian hymns of praise, as for example in the 'Papyrus of Hu-nefer'. Great temples were built in his name at Luxor and Karnak. Centers of his worship also appeared in Hermonthis, Coptos, Panopolis, Hermopolis Magna, Memphis, Sais, Heliopolis, and Mendes, and the god was worshiped in the Egyptian dependencies of Syria, Nubia, and elsewhere. Only the god of the dead, Osiris, rivaled him in popular wo
rship.
As Amen-Ra's priests became immensely wealthy and powerful, they declared Amen-Ra the "One One," (11) who had "no second." Indeed, Amen-Ra began absorbing the characteristics of all the gods, supposedly unifying and personifying them all. Egyptologists considered this one of the most serious attempts in antiquity to formulate a system of monotheism. At the end of the Ramesside dynasty, the office of pharaoh itself was conferred on the high priest of Amen-Ra, and the 21st dynasty is known as the dynasty of priest-kings.
The Greeks, who called him Ammon, identified Amen-Ra with their principal god, Zeus, and equated Min-Amen's flail with Zeus's thunderbolt. The Romans carried this identification to their chief deity, Jupiter. A shrine and oracle of Jupiter-Ammon was located in the Libyan city of Siwa. According to Herodotus, this oracle had been founded by a Theban priestess of Amen-Ra who had been abducted by Phoenicians and sold in Libya. The oracle was famous and much visited in classical times, consulted by such historic figures as Lysander, Hannibal, and Alexander the Great, who asked the oracle to tell him whether or not he was the god's own son.

When it is at perihelion, Pluto is nearer the sun than is Neptune. Pluto therefore replaces Neptune as the eighth planet, for the limited period of time that it is away from its usual position of being the nineth planet from the sun.
PLUTO. In Greek mythology Pluto is the god of the underworld. Originally named Hades, he was one of the Olympian gods. Reportedly, when he and his brothers drew lots to divide the world, Zeus (Persian Shepherd kings) won command of the heavens (earth's surface), Poseidon (Phoenician Sea Peoples) of the sea, and Hades (The German Neanderthal) of the underworld (the Basalt layer below the earth's crust and Antarctica).
Hades became known as Pluto, the god of wealth, because of the precious metals he accumulated in the Earth. Reportedly, it is rare for Pluto to leave his realm to visit the Earth's surface (usually to meet with a vassal leader that he controls outright).
This is the allegory for replacing the (elected) 44th President of the United States of America with the 45th (appointed) President; who will then heartily welcome 'The Return of the King' (Lord of the Rings).

FAIR ......NOT BALANCED
The Monk~Media and the Democ~rats only wish that David Kay had been balanced as well as fair in his report to the Senate this morning.
In fact, David Kay refused many opportunities given to him to be as balanced as he would have been if only he had fallen into the rat trap of giving one word or incomplete responses to the Democratic Senators questions.
David Kay told it 'like it was' which now leaves it completly up to the Monk~Media and the Democ~rats to spin the truth of his testimony to fit the perceptions they have fabricated for the American public thus far.
At least Senator Big Byrd who has been most vocal against the administration had the decency to leave the room. One cannot say likewise for CNN.

2000 BC-the present: The Age of Babylonia VI Monotheism
Within the numerous human societies, the notion of there being many gods or spirits preceded the concept of a single god. The precise time at which monotheism, the worship of one god, appeared publicly in Egypt from c. 1358 to 1305 B.C.
Egypt's New Kingdom was noted for its territorial expansion and richness of art and architecture under rulers such as Amenhotep IV, who changed his name to Akhenaton or Akhenaten, the same King of Egypt who rejected the old gods and initiated a new form of monotheistic worship. He was followed by Tutankhamen (1358 BC) and later, Rameses II, known as 'Rameses the Great', the King of Egypt (1304-1237 B.C.) whose reign was also marked by the building of numerous monuments. Reportedly, Rameses was king during Moses' exodus from Egypt. That monotheism had first risen secretly somewhere else in the Middle East, reportedly in Mesopotamia, is certain.
Today's three major monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, all trace their roots back to one individual: Abraham, who reportedly lived sometime after 2000 BC. According to the Hebrew Bible (the Christian Old Testament), Abraham emigrated from Ur--a city of Sumer (Babylonia) on the Euphrates River northwest of the Persian Gulf--to Canaan (roughly, the area now called Israel).
The dynamism that monotheism brought to religion spread only gradually. Most ancient societies of the West persisted with polytheism for another 2,400 years. In eastern and southern Asia, polytheism en

Weeklong SEMINAR~WORKSHOP

The first bookings for the farm's 'FIGHT SAVELOY' winter season began on January 16, 2004.
NO SMOKE or TAINS : It's on a First come ~ First Served basis.

In the heyday of sailing ships, all war ships and many freighters carried iron cannons.
Those cannons fired round iron cannon balls. It was necessary to keep a good supply near the cannon, but they had to find a way to prevent them from rolling about the deck.
The best storage method devised was a square based pyramid with one ball on top, resting on four resting on nine that rested on sixteen.
Thus, a supply of 30 cannon balls could be stacked in a small area right next to the cannon.
There was one problem...how to prevent the bottom layer from sliding or rolling from under the others.
The solution was a metal plate called a "Monkey" with 16 round indentations.
However, if this plate were made of iron, the iron cannon balls quickly would rust to it.
The solution to the rusting problem was to make "Brass Monkeys."
Few landlubbers realize that brass contracts much more, and much faster than iron when chilled.
Consequently, when the temperature dropped too far, the brass indentations would shrink so much that the iron cannon balls would come right off the monkey.
Thus, it was quite literally, Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey."

WHERE DID MARS WATER GO TO ?
I can't yet comprehend why NASA and other scientists are making the question of where the water on Mars disappeared to seem like a mystery.
To me it seems so obvious.
Venus, the second rock from the Sun, is an overgrown greenhouse.
Earth, the third rock, has a perfect balance.
Mars, the fourth rock in distance, has lost its water.
What's the problem?
Isn't the Sun a giant furnace which is committing suicide by burning itself to death, thereby making itself smaller? Doesn't that change in size have the effect of reducing the heat at the extremities of its influence? And, doesn't that mean that once the same thing happens to Earth as has happened to Mars, we as a species, at least those with a functioning brain will simply move to Venus for a few billion more years.....and then, on to Mercury?
After that the Sun will implode and we had better have found another galaxie to move to by then.

I just sent that link to my younger brother, with whom I'd just earlier discussed the odd but real "prophetic" link between iraqi baathists and utah mormons.
We looked at the website for http://www.parowanprophet.com , in which the author says God told him to ponder that "connection." If you can surf through the jumbled nature of that website, you'll see the fellow purchased half-page ads in local (Utah) newspapers on December 7, 10, and December 14, (yep, the same day Saddam's capture was announced) saying that God had told him "Saddam would be captured soon" and that again, this has more ramifications for the current LDS leadership than any of them want to think about.
For my part, I had a vivid dream in November, in which I was emphasizing to another relative, who is an ensconced LDS, that:
"The Germans lost World War I, the Germans lost World War 2, and they are NOT going to win this World War in the guise of the Mormons!"

The direction of America's foreign policy has in the past been singularily and secretly directed by the wants, actions or inactions, of Germany (VI, the Holy Roman Empire).
The Bush 'team 6' ~comprising of Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Perle, Armitage and Woolsey~ has, since 9/11, given the USA its first truly independent foreign policy.
Their decision to go to war in Iraq is what has got the UN and the Vatican's shorts in a knot.
What a wonderful time to be alive. For the first time in 8000 years Creation is putting the Gods of Organized Religion in their place.
I can't wait to see the battle between these Titans being played out on TV.
Yet, I have no doubt about the outcome.

Abbe, Ernst (1840-1905), German physicist, astronomer, and microscope manufacturer.
Ernst Abbe, who began his career as a professor and ended it as a successful manufacturer, once summarized the relationship of his two professions in these words of advice to engineers: "One must know the means which technology puts at his disposal, in order to attain that which theory proves possible." He followed his own advice, and having discovered the mathematical formula that describes the theoretical limits of resolution for a light microscope, he went on to make improvements in the microscope that brought it to the brink of those limits~limits which, with few exceptions, remain unsurpassed today.
Abbe was born on Jan. 23, 1840, in Eisenach. He received his doctorate from the University of Gottingen in 1861, became a university lecturer at the age of 24, and was a professor at the University of Jena in 1870. In 1866 he began consulting for Carl Zeiss, an optical instrument manufacturer in Jena. Abbe and Zeiss improved the microscope somewhat by using high-quality optical glass that was produced by Otto Schott in a glassworks founded by the three men.
Their great breakthrough came in 1886 when Abbe and Zeiss reportedly 'developed' the apochromatic lens system. This system, based on Abbe's mathematical formula that related resolution quality to aperture size, reduced chromatic aberration (the colored halo that blurred the object's image in earlier microscopes) and enhanced object resolution. With the help
of oil immersion object lenses, the Zeiss microscope could resolve two points spaced only 0.2 micron apart.
Their microscope was quickly acknowledged as the finest available, and the Zeiss company flourished. Carl Zeiss died in 1888, and his son Roderick left the business in the hands of Abbe, who converted it into a cooperative called the Carl Zeiss Foundation, which involved workers, management, and the city of Jena. Abbe donated his own share of the business to the foundation. He conveniently died in Jena on Jan. 14, 1905.

LEOPARD. This spotted animal of the cat family lives in Africa, Asia Minor, Central Asia, and the Far East. It is a large cat, closely related to the lion and tiger. Leopards vary greatly in size and markings. They weigh, on average, from 60 to 200 pounds (27 to 90 kilograms) and are about 84 inches (213 centimeters) long, excluding the 36-inch (91-centimeter) tail. Some leopards, however, can grow much larger.
The leopard, like its cousin the jaguar, is normally a buff or tawny color with dark spots. The undersurface of the body is usually lighter in color. The leopard lives in bush and forest areas. It is agile, can climb trees, and is a remarkable jumper. Normally active at night, it attacks antelope, young cattle, pigs, and occasionally humans.
The leopard that has completely black coloring is widely known as the black panther. This animal is more commonly found in the Far East than in the other areas where the leopard ranges. Some types of leopards are listed as endangered: the Barbary, Anatolian, Amur, and Sinai leopards.
The cheetah, or hunting leopard, of India is a slim animal that is tamed and trained to aid in hunting. This leopard, the first cat to which the name leopard was applied, was once thought to be a cross between the lion and the pard, or panther. In running over short distances the cheetah is the fastest land animal.
The ocelot is another leopardlike cat, with striped and spotted fur, found in tropical America and the extreme southwe
