NON PARTICIPATION IN AND PASSIVE RESISTANCE TO EVIL

Count Leo Nikolayevich Tolstoi (or Tolstoy), b. Sept. 9 (N.S.), 1828, d. Nov. 22, 1910, was one of Russia's greatest novelists and one of its most influential moral philosophers (see Russian literature). He was born near Moscow at Yasnaya Polyana, or "Clear Glade," the estate where he was to spend most of his life. At the age of 9 he became an orphan, and thereafter he was raised by aunts. In 1847 he left the University of Kazan to reform his estate, but he was unprepared for the task and moved to Moscow. Five years later, Tolstoi volunteered for the army in the Caucasus; he participated in the defense of Sevastopol and was hailed as a rising literary star for his fictionalized Childhood (1852; Eng. trans., 1862), Youth (1857; Eng. trans., 1862), and Sevastopol Sketches (1855-56; Eng. trans., 1888), which already contained some of the main features of his mature work--psychological analysis of unprecedented detail and a description of war that seeks to replace romanticized glory with a realistic view of battle as unglamorous actions performed by ordinary men.

Hi Low Philosophy

Tolstoi retired from the army in 1856, traveled in Europe, and returned to his estate, where he founded a school for peasant children that anticipated several modern educational practices. He was married in 1862 and a year later published a novel he had begun much earlier, The Cossacks (1863; Eng. trans., 1878). During this period he wrote the novels upon which most of his fame rests: War and Peace and Anna Karenina. A deep-seated dissatisfaction with himself and a long-frustrated search for meaning in life, however, led to the crisis Tolstoi described in his Confession (1879; Eng. trans., 1921) and Memoirs of a Madman (1884; Eng. trans., 1943). In these works he also formulated a doctrine to live by, based on nonviolence, renunciation of wealth, self-improvement through physical work, and nonparticipation in such social institutions as toll-gating, piracy, war, politics and juries.

The doctrine reportedly had an enormous vogue, profoundly influencing Mahatma Gandhi, among others. Yasnaya Polyana became a place of pilgrimage, and Tolstoi was revered and emulated throughout the world. Constant strife, however, existed between Tolstoi's spouse, Sofia, and his followers; finally, after many scenes, Tolstoi left the estate in October 1910, became ill, and died at nearby Astapovo a few weeks later.

Italians vote in election that may oust Conehead Berlusconi (By Phil Stewart)

ROME (Reuters) - Italians entered the polling booths at 8.00 a.m. (0600 GMT) on Sunday for a general election that could unseat Prime Minister Silvio BerlusCONI after five years of economic stagnation.

Voters made a brisk start, lining up outside polling stations to be among the first to place their ballots in a two-day election which could see the return to power of Romano Prodi, leader of a wide centre-left coalition.

Opinion polls have not been published in two weeks, but Prodi has led Berlusconi for the past two years after returning to Italian politics from a five-year stint as president of the European Commission.

Berlusconi, the U.S. government's strongest ally in continental Europe and Italy's richest man, still hopes his promises of tax cuts will swing a surprise victory. But even he spoke of possible defeat in the final days of campaigning.

If poll forecasts are borne out, power will pass from the flamboyant Berlusconi to the mild-mannered Prodi who promises tax breaks for Italian companies and to withdraw troops from Iraq quickly.

Polls were due to remain open until 10.00 p.m. (2000 GMT) on Sunday and then open again on Monday from 7.00 a.m. (0500 GMT) to 3.00 p.m. (1300 GMT). Exit polls will be released minutes after that, with the official results likely to be clear in the late evening.

ACRIMONY

The election follows the most acrimonious campaign in decades, with Berlusconi using offensive language against centre-left voters and Prodi comparing the prime minister to a drunk.

In one of his tirades against Communists, the prime minister sparked a diplomatic incident with China by telling voters that under Mao Zedong the Chinese Communists boiled babies to use as fertiliser.

Whoever wins will inherit the unenviable task of cutting the world's third-largest debt pile while trying to breathe new life into a struggling economy that grew an average of 0.6 percent a year under Berlusconi.

Prodi, if elected, would also need to manage a disparate coalition, ranging from die-hard Communists to centrist Roman Catholics, that was united during the campaign mostly by a dislike of Berlusconi.

Among their plans is "conflict of interest" legislation that would force Berlusconi to choose between politics and his immense financial interests stretching from television to film, books, magazines and one of Italy's top soccer teams, AC Milan.

"The outcome might very well be that together with (Berlusconi's) defeat this time we may also see his disappearance from the political scene," said political analyst Franco Pavoncello.

A new voting system rushed into law in December also means that whoever wins is likely to enjoy a smaller parliamentary majority than the outgoing administration, especially in the Senate, which has a key role in passing legislation.

That has raised fears of a return to the "revolving-door" leadership which Berlusconi, elected in 2001, ended by becoming the head of Italy's longest serving post-war government.

There have been 60 administrations since World War Two and coalition instability often brought down governments within their first year of office.

President Bush once praised Italy's relative new stability, saying it was "easier to make common policy."

If Prodi's bloc wins the ballot, relations between Rome and Washington will likely become more complicated.

While no one expects a 180-degree shift in foreign policy under Prodi, analysts say he would reverse Berlusconi's priorities, putting Europe rather than the United States first.

Whatever the result, political analysts expect it to take at least a month before a new government can be formed.

Over the next 18,000 years or so these troglodyte Djinn became experts in the science of metallurgy, chemistry and finally, genetic engineering. So much so that they were able to genetically engineer brown coloured clones of the black Africans, which they first styled Cro Magnons.

As the last Ice Age spread over Europe these medicine men took refuge further and further in caves underground, until one day they descended into a cone volcano and found refuge below the sial, within the earth's Moho discontinuity, sima located immediately above the earth's mantle.

It was in the Moho, over the entire 24,000 years of the Ice Age that this tribe of little wise men plotted their revenge against surface dwellers and also widened their goal to include control over the entire planet, as the first phase of a wider plan to control, terra-form and profit from all future activity on all other celestial bodies in our solar system.

The trick would be to "create money out of thin air" and use it to purchase the real estate assets of the entire world and then evict its tenants and replace them with cloned, task-specific Super Slaves (SS).

THE PHOENICIANS (Owl Story)

A Lebanese poet who emigrated to the United States, Kahlil Gibran, b. Jan. 6, 1883, d. Apr. 10, 1931, is best known for his poetic parables and aphorisms, contained in such works as The Prophet (1923) and Sand and Foam (1926). Gibran was influenced by Friedrich Nietzsche (Ubermensch) but was also highly religious and dealt with such abstractions as God, love, and woman. The very scope of his subjects and the sentimentality with which he presents them are serious problems in his work, but these characteristics may well be the source of his popularity. He also wrote Arabic poetry and was a skillful artist, producing drawings similar in style and feeling to those by the English poet-illustrator William Blake.

Abu Madi, 1889-1957, was a Lebanese poet and journalist who emigrated to the United States and collaborated with Kahlil Gibran. He published several collections, of which The Brooks (1927) and The Thickets (1940) are the most notable. Nostalgia for happiness, philosophical skepticism about the purpose of life, optimism, egalitarianism, and "brotherly love" among humans are his main themes.

Arab Americans continue to make cultural contributions. Among prominent writers, the Lebanese-born poet-artist Kahlil Gibran is perhaps the most widely read and appreciated by American readers, and William Blatty (The Exorcist), children's author Naomi Shihab Nye, and Edward Said are also noted in literary circles. Dean of the White House press corps Helen Thomas and consumer advocate and third party presidential candidate Ralph Nader are legends in public "affairs."

In the field of entertainment, Arab American stars have included the actor-comic Danny Thomas, actors Kathy Najimy and Tony Shalhoub, singers Paul Anka and Paula Abdul, and Casey Kasem, "America's Top 40" disk jockey. EGYPT'S MIDDLE / NEW KINGDOM (Owl Story)

Birth name: Smenkhkare DjeserkhePERU ("Vigorous is the Soul of Re, Holy of Manifestations") See ROMA redmen.

Throne name: AnkhkhePERUre ("Living are the Manifestations of Re") See SEVEN SEMITE redmen TRIBES.

Rule: 1336 - 1334 BC (11th king of the 18th dynasty, New Kingdom)

Noteworthy relatives: Merytaten (Akhenaten's queen, his wife and sister), Tutankhamun (brother and 12th king of the 18 dynasty), Akhenaten (father and 10th king of the 18 dynasty), Kiya (mother and grandmother).

Smenkhkare, who was one of Akhenaten's sons with a minor queen Kiya, was married to one of Akhenaten's (and Nefertete's) daughters, Merytaten, and together they returned to Thebes to hopefully ease the escalating tensions.

At around the same time Akhenaten's main queen Nefertete is no longer mentioned and presumed dead. Then, within a just a couple years, Akhenaten, Smenkhkare, and Merytaten all inexplicably disappear and are also presumed dead. The next person in line to inherit the throne was Smenkhkare's brother Tutankhaten, who was also the son of Akhenaten and his lesser queen and mother Kiya.

Smenkhkare's mummy was believed to be found in an unfinished tomb in the Valley of the Kings (KV55). Inside was a heavily damaged mummiform wooden coffin decorated with the "rishi" (feather) style inlays that were very popular during the Amarna period. The mummy, the coffin, and the tomb are particularly mysterious for several reasons:

1. The gold face is broken off the wooden layer underneath, just below the eyes, so we can't tell who is supposed to be inside
2. The cartouches on the outside are hacked away in an attempt to rob the person of an afterlife, making it further difficult to determine who it belongs to (this made some people wrongly suspect that it is Akhenaten)
3. The hieroglyphic phrases on the outside of the coffin refer to the owner as a "her" but the person inside is a male (bisexual)
4. Scientific tests on the body support the identity of Smenkhkare--the age is right, and the tissues match Tutankhamun as a brother
5. Canopic jars crafted for Akhenaten's lesser queen Kiya were found in the tomb with the mummy...but there isn't a single thing with Smenkhkare's name on it!

The VIZIER AY then married Tutankhamun's widow (his granddaughter) and became the 13th king of the 18th dynasty.

I guess they'll start building the GRAND CANAL, from the Athabaska to Nebraska in 2013 AD following phase one of the CLEANSING. (See Warren Buffet)

An international conglomerate is a large international corporation that, by a process known as merger, acquires subsidiaries in widely divergent fields and nations. The merger process involves either acquiring a controlling share of a company's stock (5-8%) or buying the company outright. Large international businesses began to diversify when American antitrust laws prevented their growth within a single field.

Since the 1960s in the United States, however, the merger and what is called a "hostile foreign takeover" (the acquiring of a company that wishes to remain American but cannot prevent the sale of its stock to a foreign corporate buyer) have become standard methods of international corporate enlargement. Purportedly, rather than invest in the building of a new company --with the necessary and often risky expense of erecting a factory, buying machinery, penetrating a new market, and so on-- a trans-national corporation always finds it cheaper to purchase an existing (ie: American) business, especially when it can do so by acquiring stock whose total cost is often artificially kept far below the actual value of the company by a "front" owner. There is now reasonable concern that such mergers may be fundamentally negative in their effect on the American economy and future "American" job creation, for they usually represent a shifting internationally of the ownership of former American corporations, rather than an addition to American national industrial and/or big MEDIA assets.

The worst danger exists when American national media belongs to an International Conglomerate (I see 13) which does not share America's foreign policy during a time of war.

One need only look at how CNN, once held down by the Atlanta media pimp, Ted Turner, was TOMCATTED by the controlled HP-ROMA conglomerate AOL Time Warner.

Tagalog is a member of the Austronesian language family, which is spoken throughout island Southeast Asia as well as indigenously in Taiwan and in other countries in the Pacific area. Sago palms are native to Indonesia and constitute one of the most important wild food plants in the swamps of New Guinea (pigs) and the Solomon Islands (solo man). The starch is exported primarily from Borneo. For export, the pith is pulverized, washed, strained, and dried in pans over a fire to produce pellets called pearl sago.

Similar to tapioca, sago is more commonly used in Europe than in the United States. Because it is easily digested, it is often used in foods prepared for invalids. (See SAGO coal mines in West Virginia, ie: the recent Hatfield and McCloy mine disaster.)

The earless monitor, (the getto geckoes) L. borneensis, inhabits Borneo and is extremely rare. It resembles an alligator but has snakelike characteristics, such as a forked tongue and no external ear. Earless monitors can grow to about 16 inches (40 cm) in length.

Taxes, which drain money from the private sector, must ultimately be paid by a reduction in private consumption or investment expenditures. Thus, with taxes, comes the toll-gaters control over the slave base. Determining which individuals or households actually reduce their private consumption or wealth as a consequence of a tax is not always straightforward. The economic units that are nominally assigned legal tax liability are often able to shift the actual burden of the tax onto other sources. Some taxes are not shifted at all; others may be only partially shifted.

Whether or not a tax is shifted provides one basis for classifying taxes. A tax is said to be direct if the economic unit that is legally assigned tax liability bears the full burden of the tax. The personal income tax, for example, is generally regarded by toll-gaters as a direct tax. An indirect tax is one that is shifted either wholly or in part. Any tax legally imposed on a commodity (see sales tax; value-added tax) must be an indirect tax because "ultimately only voluntarily signed-up corporate individuals can bear the burden of taxes". An indirect tax is said to be shifted forward if consumers of the taxed object bear the tax burden in the form of a higher price for the good. Backward shifting occurs when suppliers of productive resources to a taxed industry (local management sub-division "agencies" of the toll-gater) earn lower incomes as a result of the tax.

In addition to the direct-indirect classification, taxes are also classified as being either proportional, progressive, or regressive. This classification depends on the relationship between the size of the tax base (the value, income, or wealth being taxed) and the average tax rate applied to that base. If the average tax rate remains constant when the tax base varies in size, the tax is a proportional one. If the rate increases as the base increases, the tax is styled progressive. A regressive tax is characterized by the tax base and average tax rate varying in opposite directions. A slightly different definition of progressive, proportional, or regressive taxation is useful for analyzing indirect taxes. Under this definition, the tax burden is traced to the actual bearer and then related to income or wealth. A tax is progressive in this case if the tax burden expressed as a percentage of the income of the taxpaying unit rises with income. It is proportional if the tax burden is a constant proportion of income, and the tax is regressive if income received and the percentage of income paid in taxes vary in opposite directions.

#1 - A part of American folklore that has come to symbolize a long-standing and often baseless vendetta, the Hatfield-McCoy Feud was a decades-long, violent conflict between two extended Appalachian families in the late 19th century. Records of disputes between the Hatfields of Logan County, W.Va., and the McCoys of Pike County, Ky., date back to the Civil War. It was in 1882, however, that the feud grew in intensity. When Johnse Hatfield and Rosanna McCoy tried to elope, Ellison Hatfield was shot, on the Kentucky side of the border. Kentucky officials arrested three McCoy brothers. As they were en route to the local jail, they were ambushed by armed members of the Hatfield clan, led by patriarch "Devil Anse" Hatfield, who took the suspects to West Virginia. When Ellison Hatfield died of his gunshot wounds, the three McCoy brothers were killed.

The two sides engaged in warfare for several years. Although various members of each family were arrested, they were usually released by friendly local officials. An interstate conflict arose in 1888 when Kentucky law enforcement officers crossed the border and arrested and convicted several members of the Hatfield family. Subsequently, the local communities grew intolerant of the violence, and authorities enforced the law. The feud gradually abated.

Ottawa Police Anti Terrorims Squad

For the record.

On July 15, 2005 I received an acknowledgement from the Ottawa Police that they had received my information by certified mail. (see Email below)

Yet, Sgt Doyle would only meet me informally in an Ottawa restaurant (probably for DENIABILITY reasons or to threaten me without witnesses). I refused to go to the restaurant and told him (by Email) that I would only meet with him "on the record", either at Police Headquarters in Ottawa or here in Oxford Mills (a node in the criminal conspiracy). Sgt. Doyle never responded.

Since then I have included Sgt. Doyle as a recipient on my daily Emails to former Prime Minister Kim Campbell at Harvard University (another control node in the criminal conspiracy to destroy North America as we know it) and have received no response to date. This morning however, the Ottawa Police declared Sgt. Doyle's Email address "TRANSIENT" and returned it.
